Freshly brewed coffee is now being served in the heart of Dudley Private Hospital and with every cup, you’re supporting meaningful employment for people with disability.

Wangarang’s Coffee Cart is a supported employment and training initiative designed to deliver quality coffee while creating real-world hospitality opportunities for our participants.

Located in the main foyer of Dudley Private Hospital in Orange, the cart is more than just a coffee stop, it’s a stepping stone to confidence, skills and independence.

Why the Coffee Cart Matters

Wangarang has proudly delivered supported employment in Orange for more than 60 years. As our region continues to grow as a modern hub for hospitality and tourism, it’s important that people with disability have access to relevant, real-world training opportunities.

The Coffee Cart forms part of Wangarang’s 2030 Strategy, focused on creating contemporary employment pathways that reflect today’s workforce. Hospitality is a proven pathway to employment across Australia. Through hands-on barista training, customer service experience and daily workplace responsibilities, participants gain:

Accredited training opportunities
Increased confidence and independence
Real employment outcomes

We are also working closely with Anson Street School to provide barista training opportunities for students, helping young people transition from school into employment.

Built on Proven Success

Wangarang’s already successful social enterprise services – commercial cleaning, mail & packaging, secure document scanning & shredding, component assebly, winery services and most recently their Return and Earn program has already shown the powerful impact meaningful work can have, delivering strong commercial outcomes while building confidence and breaking down barriers for participants.

The Coffee Cart builds on that success by expanding into hospitality: a vibrant, people-focused industry where skills are transferable and opportunities are growing.
