Our People
Wangarang Industries provides jobs and training for approximately one hundred and twenty five (125) people with a variety of intellectual and physical disabilities.
Supported employees at Wangarang are provided with a range of formal training, including on-the-job training to complete specific tasks and accredited skills development courses. Wangarang also partners with TAFE Western Institute NSW to provide accredited vocational training.
Workplace modifications are provided to meet the special needs of supported employees. This includes the provision of special equipment and modifying jobs to suit the individual needs and abilities of each employee.
Wangarang offers a variety of individual work options and can also provide work experience programs for secondary school students.
Wangarang employs approximately thirty highly skilled staff who have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of people with a disability. These individuals who possess a range of experience and qualifications, including; certificates in Disability Work, Welfare, Business and WHS, provide support, guidance and supervision to our employees on a daily basis.
